Annemarie Kleinert-Ludwig (born 1 February 1947, Geseke) is a German Doctor of Philosophy who did research and taught history at the Free University of Berlin, the University of Hanover, and the University of California, San Diego. Presently she works as a free-lance writer. Her first book dealt with the (history of French women's magazines in the 18th and 19th centuries ), up to 1848. It was the first of its kind. The second book was a (biography ) of the famous primaballerina Eva Evdokimova, who died in 2009. A recent book presents the (history ) of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra during its most exciting period, from the conductors Herbert von Karajan to Sir Simon Rattle. The book has appeared also in German and Japanese. She is married to the physicist Hagen Kleinert since May 30, 1974, with whom she has a son, Michael Kleinert. She has written a number of (scientific articles ), and discovered〔 〕 previously unknown early works of the French author Honoré de Balzac. == References ==
